Brainworks was founded in 2020 with a two-fold mission:

Mission #2: Walk shoulder to shoulder with them in their growth journey

The management consulting sector has typically focussed on solving business challenges for large-scale organizations by providing them insights and strategies. However, there are only a few successful organizations targeting the startup and small-mid sized business segment along with helping them with both strategy and end-to-end implementation of the same. Brainworks is trying to plug this wide gap.

Definition & Understanding

We start a new consulting case by deeply engaging with the client in understanding their context, challenges and objectives. This involves information gathering, interviews and discussions.

At the end of this stage, the client and we are on the same page and have a clear understanding of the challenges and precisely defined objectives. Besides, this builds rapport and trust with the client - vital for the project’s overall success.

Research & Analysis

The second stage of the project involves a comprehensive analysis of the information available and further research to plug the gaps. We employ design thinking principles natively to our work and carry out the issue diagnosis, root cause discovery, data analysis, scenario building, and solution brainstorming.

As the output of this stage, we have a clear picture of the underlying factors at play in the client’s context, their interaction, potential solution pathways and their costs and benefits.

Strategy & Planning

The third stage of our process combines inputs from the analysis, our industry know-how and knowledge and tools from the academic research to craft the optimum strategy for the client. We do not create these strategies in silos, and this stage involves deep engagement with the client.

After the strategy is finalized, we go on to create an execution plan for the same. This involves converting abstract ideas into actionable steps on the ground, prioritization, and creating a coordinated work plan between the client’s team and ours.

Execution & Refinement

The final stage of a project is for the implementation of the recommended strategy according to the plan. Our team of engineers, designers, content and marketing specialists, and product experts work with the client’s teams to bring the plan to life.

As the execution begins, we take in on-ground observations and responses to dynamically refine the plan to make it sharper. We create this feedback loop to ensure that we’re walking shoulder to shoulder with the client at every execution step and do not leave them stranded without our support.
